Aaron Bogan Western Civilization, Worldview, Algebra II
I’ve been married much longer than I’ve not been married. Dana and I have four children (2 grown, 2 school aged). My oldest was in the Air Force, my second oldest is currently a Marine, and my younger two are high school and junior high vagabonds. I’ve been involved in some form of education my entire life. From taking classes at all levels to teaching classes at about all levels in venues from high-tech labs, lecture halls, and nuclear generation facilities to rain dripping mud huts, I’ve been exposed to a whole bunch of learnin’. Teaching is my calling and vocation first and my “job” second. I simply LOVE helping people see further than they could before we met. I get to see the world more broadly as a result and, as such, get to see our Creator more clearly. That’s why I do what I do. Professionally, I’ve been a Navy man, an engineer (nuclear), a college professor, a seminary professor overseas, and (currently) a purveyor of what I believe to be more effective nontraditional education. I hope that my role here in some small way encourages others to see beyond trite religious phrases into the infinite reality that is the risen Messiah: Jesus of Nazareth.
